It took so much out of me to build the courage and strength to speak out about the most awful experience I have faced this year at MDC medical campus but I have to do what’s right. I applied at MDC due to Financial reasons I live 2 hours away and was so excited to get that acceptance letter. Understanding that every school will have their issues and problems but I never once imagined in life that anyone will face such a tragic situation as I did. I have attended Academy of practical nursing, FLC Academy and also Palm beach state college which was all great. And I’ll say this at north campus I’ve ran across some great professors some that really love their job and helping people just as I do, even the deans their went out their way to give me extra services to help me succeed so I will give credit when it’s due. I ran across the worst Professor who manipulated and took full advantage of my kindness, Adult health assessment that is. Since I have to face the facts that she told the students in that class that I was cheating and using ACCESS as a way to get by and school this very moment I’ve dreaded because I now have to face the world and expose my learning disability which has taken a tool on me and my mental health. Before classes started I email every professor my access accommodation which means some students have learning difficulties and need extra time. All my other professors gave me the accommodation with no issues besides Professor Cassandra the first exam she was made aware by an access worker and myself whom she told that she was not reopening the exam. I had to fight so hard to get my accommodations with her that was the only class I was failing, all thoe I passed all my written exams with high school she kept failing me on my skills. I was told by one of the students in our class when I would go to the access room to take my exams the professor is making fun of me and stating that she was going to make sure I failed which she did. It’s like the more I tried to stand up for myself the more I was bullied and the sad part is it seem like the higher ups only cared for you to repay and take the class over. Worst experience of my life I’m still in disbelief that people can treat you this way and not care, they can bully me all they want but videos and text don’t lie. The students came in the group chat admitting that I took all the assessments and they felt I was failed fairly mean while the professor told the dean and president that I refused the first attempt. One day the tables will turn and just as they treated me poorly and didn’t care the pain it caused me it will definitely come back

If I could put a 0 stars I would definitely do it. This is the worst school ever with a such terrible service. I was in the nursing program and no one is willing to help or assist you for any type of procedure especially the NURSING department. They hang up on you or tell you they are too busy to help you. And if we don’t get things done on time it is considered our responsibility. There was also a day where I went to the department and the gentleman just shut the window while I was trying to explain my situation. Also, when some student comes to visit mdc to eventually join, We student have to sometimes to tell them about our experience at mdc, and the school person told us to say nice about mdc and don’t say bad things so they can join. Please Don’t waste your money here the medical campus is definitely the worst campus ever.

Very promising except they don’t tell you there’s a very unfair diversity formula to how they select who is accepted in the Sonography program. I feel discriminated. All good grades, 3.77 GPA + Dean’s list term honor but did not get into the program. Going elsewhere where I actually don’t have to compete to get in the program of my career.

I have been a student at MDC since 2016. By far Medical campus is the worst out of all of the MDC schools out there. My complaint is not about the professors, most of them are great! On the other hand, advisors and leadership made my life so difficult to the point where I just wanted to give up and forget about my degree. They do not answer their emails on a timely manner, if you go to the school prepare to wait 2+ hours to speak to someone for 3 minutes, IF you even get to speak to someone. They do not treat their students with respect, they do not try to help, nobody tries to actually understand and solve your issues. Issues that weren’t my fault in the first place. Issues that could’ve been solved in weeks instead of MONTHS. I am just so glad it’s over. I finally got my degree and I am ready to forget this nightmare of school. I would not recommend this school to anyone, not even my enemies.

I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. However, applying for a program at the MDC medical campus was the biggest. This happened last fall. Unfortunately, I got accepted into a program that is very competitive and hard to get in. When I found out that I was accepted I burst into tears. But boy was I wrong. It only took me two weeks to drop out of the program. However, I should’ve done it from the first day I stepped foot in the classroom. Everything was a mess from day one. I’m talking about from schedules to canvas, to basically everything. I know that MDC is a very economical school, however, I would rather pay more to learn in a smaller class environment where one can understand better and observe what the professors are teaching you about how each medical equipment works. On my last day in this program, I was waiting to practice something during class (I am not going to mention which program or any names), I remember standing and thinking, I really want to walk out the door right now. But I thought, “Don’t quit now, give it a try”. When it was my turn to practice, I didn’t do a really good job. Keep in mind, that this was my second week trying to learn something that I’ve never done before. When the “test” was over, the professor told me, “If you expect to learn everything by memory you might as well drop out now”. At that moment I thought to myself “Thank you”, this is the sign I needed to leave this place and never come back. Last but not least, I think MDC should inculcate more morals and virtues when it comes to new students. I’m not going to say what I heard in my class, but let me just say, that I would never be comfortable having some students practice on me while on clinics. If you thought bullying and being judgmental about someone’s looks stops when you get to college (with “adults”), you’re mistaken. Although my confidence was completely shattered, up to the point where I never wanted to study anything ever again, I was able to find a new school with a program that I truly love and feel passionate about. I truly hope that no one has to go through this college experience.

Look at all the reviews don’t waste your money don’t waste your time as international students we expect for the prices that we’re paying just a little bit of support with basic things like getting enrolled into classes or having someone that can give some type of guidance coming from another country we had not used to The school systems in the medical campus is the worst the worst of the worst terrible look at all the reviews it’s not even just me you can take a look at all the other reviews terrible they don’t do nothing I hope at least someone from the medical campus can see this and take a little bit of action. Where is all the money going to what are they doing with it ? They show no support no support. Don’t come to the medical campus. Do not do it.

If you are looking for a school that works with your work and school schedule this is not the school , if your looking for a supportive staff to help you get through hard times this is not the school for you I wish that I would of know this when I started the programs . It’s also self taught the majority of the stuff which does not help you with your overall testing , you are in a teach yourself environment at all times even in your classes your classmate become your help and teacher but sometimes can be lost themselves when you looking for a good school you need support and this school doesn’t offer
