We usually stay at a different hotel in Milwaukee, but this time we chose the Renaissance Milwaukee West—and it did not disappoint. The lobby décor was beautifully done, and the entire property was clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the llama picture in the elevator.
What truly made the experience exceptional was Jasmin at the front desk. She was personable and took the time to explain parking, room details, nearby restaurants, and local activities. While all the Marriott staff we encountered were friendly, Jasmin’s warm smile truly brightened our day.

We used the Renaissance hotel for our wedding weekend! We had rooms blocked out for guests here and we also stayed here for the weekend! If you use them for a wedding block, they will upgrade your room to a suite! The suite was wonderful! It was spacious. Very modern looking hotel. Everything was clean! We were able to fit 12 people in the suite for getting ready for the wedding! There was an iron and board included. Something I wished they could have helped me with was loading all of my bags up to the room, instead they just gave me a cart. Overall, we were happy with our choice for this hotel for our wedding weekend!

The lobby has a very modern and welcoming design. The staff is friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. Their restaurant had excellent food especially the tomahawk steak. There are plenty of parking spots since the hotel is next to a mall.

I was disappointed overall. The hotel was stark, the entrance was strange with the front desk way off to the side, and the lobby had a strange aroma (intentionally perfumed, which was overbearing). Parking was unnecessarily complicated and expensive and not managed by the hotel. The room itself was stylish, it had comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom. However, the shower did not contain the water adequately, even though the door closed fully. It must have leaked through a joint or seam and water flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered. The safe did not work, and there was no booklet or anything in the room to describe the hotel services (sometimes the app or web page don’t provide particulars, such as operating the safe or describing where the gym is). Also, the coffee/tea service in the room was chincy, not enough for two people. I expect better from the Renaissance brand.

We stay close to 100 nights every year with Marriott and if you're high level Bonvoy with them, don't expect any amenities or recognition here. No recognition at check-in and while their concierge lounge was open, expect nothing more then cheese and crackers in the evening and a very very poor breakfast each morning. On this particular visit, this luxury brand of Marriott (Renaissance) was literally providing bread and butter along with warm non refrigerated drinks as their concierge lounge offering to Marriott's most loyal customers who warrant lounge access. ||||Yes... bread and butter. ||||Unfortunately this review is over.... does not live up to the Renaissance brand name by doing this. Should be rebranded as a Fairfield Inn. ||||PS: if you were curious about other amenities:||||Cons: no pool, bar was closed, no other luxuries such as fire pits, etc.||||Pros: nice lobby, rooms standard, located next to a mall with food other than bread and butter.

I REALLY loved every aspect of this hotel. I have stayed in several Mwaukee hotels and this one really touched my soul. Not only was the concierge lounge warm and welcoming, the staff was friendly. Yes, parking was $12 and you must secure using the QR Code or app because it is through a 3rd party company.

Most beautiful room I've ever stayed in! Went there for our wedding night and honeymoon, and they upgraded us to the king suite for no extra charge. Amazing food in the restaurant downstairs, and great overall service!

Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel is a great choice! Every single team member that I encountered was friendly and hospitable. Angel and Jasmine at the front desk, Charles in the concierge lounge and Christina in Housekeeping truly elevated my experience.
Angel & Jasmine were incredibly helpful with all of my requests. Charles was so kind and hospitable while I enjoyed breakfast in the concierge lounge. Thank you to all 3 of you!!
