I recently visited Yeoman’s in downtown Tampa for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, largely due to the inadequate service. The venue itself has a lot to offer: various areas to hang out, including a Topgolf arcade, table pool, a center bar, an outdoor bar with seating area, and some unique décor with cool lighting. It's a spacious and lively spot, which could be great for a night out — but the service left much to be desired.

My group of about seven arrived around 3:30pm. It took nearly 20 minutes just to get a glass of water, and during that time, the bartender never checked in with us or even acknowledged our presence. We thought she might have been ignoring the entire bar, as we weren't the only ones waiting for service. We eventually had to send someone over to catch her attention as she walked by, and only then did we manage to get a drink order in.

When the shift change happened, a new bartender stepped in, and things improved slightly. She was much more attentive and even apologized for the lack of service we had received earlier. Unfortunately, by that point, we had already been left with a sour impression, and we opted not to order any food, as no one had even approached us to offer a menu or take our order during that long wait.

The atmosphere at Yeoman’s is definitely appealing, and there’s potential for a fun time, but the service really needs work. It's hard to overlook how much was missed on the customer service side, especially considering it was our first visit. With more attentive bartenders and a focus on customer care, Yeoman’s could be a solid go-to spot, but my experience was a major letdown.

Super cool place to chill, meet friends for a drink, play pool or swing (golf). Good options as far as food and drinks and a very neat atmosphere. The design of the restaurant is amazing and cool, very British feel, big, specials and open. Friendly staff and great service. Make sure to check it out!

The pastrami sandwich was better than I expected! I will def be back for that. The wings are perfection. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was so good too. For an appetizer, the nachos are a great option + the pretzel bites!

Went on a Friday at 5pm and it was relatively slow. We got sat quickly. There is parking across the restaurant so do not park far away. This is in downtown Tampa so you will see some homeless folks as you walk to the spot.

Atmosphere- there are 4 or so bays where you can play virtual golf where you hit a screen. There are some pool tables and shuffle board. Nice game area, not busy when we went.

Food- I got the buffalo tenders but they were not spicy at all and the bread was quite salty. My wife got a burger and fries which she enjoyed.

Service- our server was good, quick and attentive.

Nice spot to watch the game or get a casual bite to eat.

First visit!! These HandHelds are so large! The bacon Jammie was 10 fold more flavorful than anticipated. The Brisket - delish! Next time - Fish and chips.

FOURRRR!!!!!! Don't let this place fool you. We stopped in for game 7 of the stanley cup. As out of towners we took a chance here, BUT we were soooo wrong. This place was amazing. It's VERY large inside with standard sports bar style seating, or you can reserve areas for golf, shuffle board, pool tables, or even football throwing. We played shuffle board for over an hour while ordering some food. The food was extremely well quality and presented very good. The service treated us like regulars. Not a bad seat in the house. Then if you prefer to sit outside they have that also. Covered of course. Overall such an exceptional time and enjoyed the food. Will def go back

While Yeoman’s Cask and Lion may sound like the worlds best lawyers office it is actually one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I came here while on a trip to Tampa and was pleasantly surprised with this spot. The food was delicious and the service was good. But the varied menu of American and English dishes coupled with the fantastic live music made this trip special. The bangers and mash, fish & chips and the nachos were amazing and the live cover band absolutely killed it singing classics and had a really great singing voice. I would recommend this place to anyone in Tampa if you need a proper fish & chips or a potential criminal defense attorney! 10/10

Came back for lunch a few years later after my first visit, basically ordered the same stuff we had last time. Still incredibly delicious and we had a lovely time. I will note we stood for like 10 minutes at the entrance waiting to be seated until we asked a waitress to help us. Hostess never came, not sure what that was about, but our waitress was good and we had a great time and we love this place!
