You get what you pay for! spent £35 each for one night and got breakfast included.

Cons: slightly run down & the heating fluctuates quite drastically, our room didn’t have anywhere to adjust the temp, so was freezing woke up sweating.

Pros: Decent for the money, staff are extremely polite, breakfast was decent & hot, the bar is lovely! The pros definitely out way the cons

Aye it’s not the Hilton but you get what you pay for so would definitely stay again x

My stay at Palace Hotel was pleasant however the rooms and facilities weren't up to date. 1 star for cleanliness, the room hasn't been cleaned properly. I also cannot stop myself by pointing out the amount of mold found there. They are not keeping up with it. Unfortunately we also experienced some unprofessional behaviour by the stuff. If it wasn't for work related event I would definitely NOT be staying at this hotel.

Visited the casino and slots both nights whilst I stayed in IOM.
Has lots of jackpot slots with like £12k wins available and all the usual roulette, blackjack, brag tables as well.
Roulette min was £1 a chip and on Blackjack £5.

The casino was quiet but at least you get to play what you want but the atmosphere isn't really there like in many casinos.
Downstairs there is also a slots world kind of place with a massive floor just full of slot machines which is ok if that's all you want to play with some popular games in there.

The breakfast area has fab views, self service buffet style arrangement. Always well stocked.

The bar and casual dining area, the food was of a good standard, prompt, friendly and professional staff.

Plenty of parking.

However I want to point out the room hadn't been updated in 20 years, maybe more. Threadbare carpets, a bathroom that was diabolically ancient. Rooms are cleaned every 3 days, but only 2 coffee sachets. Room s facing to the rear have to endure noisy aircon units running 24/7.

The hotel is very dated. Staff are unhelpful. Room didn't have enough enough space to swing a cat! No room for suitcases. Toilet flush was half broken. Shower either boiling or freezing, shower head loose. Food very average with not enough servers. Cramped conditions in buffet area. I do not recommend a stay here!

Just spent three days at this hotel.
This hotel has a rating of 4star.How is has this rating is very odd .The whole place is very dated,Needs a good refurbishment. On first appearance from the front the hotel looks very dated,the entrance from the front not welcoming,gives the impression of entering a prison.
The reception round the back.of the building has that stale smoking smell.
Carpets very worn and ripped in places.The rooms very small with dated furniture, bathroom/toilet small.
Overall the place was clean,although rooms were only cleaned every three days.
Staff were excellent but let down by the low standard of the hotel.
Could not fault the breakfast.
In my view the rating on this hotel needs to be reviewed.
Potential Customers need to have honest information .
