I am adding to what my husband wrote about the poor workmanship of this store. I brought a pair of silk pants to have them shortened. When I saw my "altered" pants, I simply could not believe what I saw. She bragged about her 40 plus years of professional tailoring experience; the workmanship sure does not reflect that. I trusted her, and she failed me badly. I'm very very disappointed and very very upset. It should be a ZERO star. I don't recommend this shop. Don't GO to this shop; lousy and unacceptable job.

Mei is an outstanding, professional, & friendly tailor. She can quickly assess your garment by marking, pinning areas, & explaining the reasons for specific alterations for a complimentary fit.

If you are looking for a tailor, she is the person you need to see. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend her.

This black formal dress was originally like a potato sack; it was literally big everywhere. She worked on the ruched area with the long zipper, created a nicer look on the waist, and pulled up the slanted neckline. The results were beautiful. I received endless compliments on the dress at the formal venue.

I saw this sold out denim apron dress on a website, and for a couple of years was seeing if I could find something similar; I never did. I took some pictures of the dress and Mei agreed to make one for me! I bought a nice denim fabric, and she designed one, identical to the picture. It fits perfectly, and the stitching is perfect. I absolutely love it, and her. Mei is a very skilled dressmaker.

She’s an expert tailor who is highly skilled. I have brought many nice dresses to be altered (hem, sleeve, size of chest, etc) and she never fails. She’s very good at providing you options to consider (the one that looks very nice or the cheaper alternative, where possible).

Horrible place! The first thing we saw was this woman (Proprietor of the shop) yelling at her worker in front of us for a good 5 minutes. We were ready to walk but desperation had me stay. With My matron of honor and potential wedding dress in hand, asked if she can alter it by 1 inch in the back. I was first told by the proprietor of the shop, that the dress would take weeks and would cost $500, at least! The wedding being a week away, I tried on the dress for her and she said it was an impossible task and there is nothing she can do. I am adding 2 pics of my wedding dress which I did get it to fit and wore it on my wedding day, no thanks to her! I would never go back. ?‍♂️

I love this shop and I love Mei’s work.

I had a complicated alteration to an important (and expensive) custom embroidered coat that other tailors told me would require a dressmaker to do, specifically, as it involved taking apart the coat itself. The waist of the coat was inches below my natural waist and it needed to come up.

I walked into Mei’s shop hoping that the coat could be altered and preparing myself to hear that it couldn’t. She took one look at the coat on me and immediately started marking out changes.

She even had me come in for a fitting to make sure everything was right with the coat before she completed it.

The alteration was perfect and exactly what I wanted and the resulting coat is much more flattering to me. I dropped in on a Saturday to see if the coat could be tailored and by the following Saturday I picked it up.

I will definitely come to C&W tailor & dress maker again!
