I have seen Dr. King on and off for at least 20 years, regularly for about the last four years. I have had nothing short of a wonderful experience from her and her staff each visit. She is also my three daughters PCP and they are not the easiest patients, they all have special needs and the entire office has been very accommodating and patient with all of us. Dr King was also my late father’s doctor and I think he was probably her #1 fan. Dr. King followed him closely and was incredibly supportive throughout his battle with melanoma. We love Dr. King.

Dr Susan King wrote me A letter telling me that she would not see me anymore. She was mad at me because I called the numbers she provided in the middle of the night when I was having a breakdown/anxiety attack.
It was caused from the medicines she gave me. Not to mention she is always been rude and disrespectful. Her nurses and staff were just as bad.

The nurse practitioner Janet is incredible! She listens to my concerns and we work together to find potential solutions for my health. I have loved switching over to this medical practice from Austin Diagnostic Clinic. I was just a number there, here I feel listened to. Highly recommend!

I would say the only real good thing about Dr. King’s office is her staff. They’re super friendly. But on the other side they are super slow. I had an eleven fifteen appt got there at ten fifty. Didn’t get roomed until eleven thirty. It’s tough because I work for a cardiologist and eleven to twelve is my only opportunity to see Dr. King and almost every time I’ve seen her. I’ve been late to get back to work. I would definitely not recommend her if you’re a person who has only a certain amount of time. Because you’ll be waiting in that waiting room for a while like I did.

I have been seen here for a couple years now. The entire staff is always very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. As I am usually only going for prescription refills lately, my appointments aren’t that long, but they take the time to sit and talk with me to make sure I don’t need anything else and that nothing else is going on. I don’t even have to wait past my appointment time like the norm at other doctors’ offices. I have never been left sitting wondering when I will be called back or when the doctor will finally show up. I have never had any kind of experience like what some of the bad reviewers have posted here.

Susan C King has been my doctor for 18 years. I want everyone to know how absolutely wonderful she is. I am 74 years old. I have experienced a fair share of injuries and surgeries. Dr. King has guided me through most of those experiences. She is a perfect doctor. That being said, here's what I want to say about Dr. King: From my initial visit in 2002, unit now, this wonderful doctor has always demonstrated a patient, genuine concern for her patients. I cannot put into words how much this lady means to me. I have recently experienced significant depression. Dr. King's willingness to listen, with obvious concern, is heart warming. I can truly state that Dr. King has impacted my life over these many years. Finally, her staff is fabulous. In particular, receptionist Jessica is a godsend. She is dealing with a very difficult family illness in her family. However, you would never know it; Jessica greets everyone with a genuine smile. My respect and love for her matches my love and respect that I have for doctor King. They are simply the best!!!!! Jim McIlwain

I really like seeing Dr. King as my primary doctor. She's straightforward and good at what she does, and she genuinely cares about her patients and takes an interest. She's also very open to questions and curiosity, so don't be afraid to ask if you want to know more about something she says. Some of the office staff in the past have not been above and beyond amazing, but no one was incompetent and just smiling and being nice generally received a positive response. Based on the way some of the negative reviews are written, I would seriously question whether the fault lies with the office or with the reviewers themselves. Keep in mind it's a doctor's office and as such often runs behind as they try to give each patient the best care, which can sometimes take longer than the allotted appointment time. Remember that you would want the same level of care given to you, and if you are concerned about timing then make an appointment earlier in the day - their online scheduler is very convenient for that.
