Hotel appears to be newer/recently renovated which and is significantly better than most other aging Hampton Inns. Front desk staff were friendly and although I have a digital key, they greeted me when I walked through the lobby. The main reason for the three star review is location next to the highway. The road noise was extremely loud and did not assist with a restful night of sleep. Based on this, I will not stay at this hotel again.

All I can say is wow! Excellent service, excellent rooms, and overall, a great little town. Front counter people were polite and helpful. Our room was excellent, down to the added touch of having a welcome screen on your TV as you enter with your name on it. A little thing that makes you feel appreciated as a valued customer.

Positive: The hotel was very clean, and even smelled nice inside. The beds were comfy, and had feather pillows. I liked the 11am checkout time, and light blocking curtain, as I like to sleep in on vacation. The breakfast was good. Negative: ""

Didn’t feel like a guest. In fact they make you think they don’t trust you. They charge a $100 deposit for “incidentals” which is ridiculous, especially considering they don’t have $100 worth of chips and pop in their little store. Worse, they make you sign a homemade document where you promise not to have parties. I was traveling with my kids and 83yr old MIL. Pretty absurd. Otherwise clean and nice - just don’t feel welcome.

Staff went out of their way to help me with a battery issue. They could have easily steered me to a near by store. ||When I need to make a purchase I will select businesses that appreciate their customers when I can. I will stay here again the next time I’m in town!

As a frequent business traveler I'm pretty picky and this Hampton did NOT disappoint! Michelle welcomed me at late check in and was super friendly, warm and down to earth. She quicklyanaged a room change for us due to website confusion for disability access. She's a pro! Every Hampton should have Michelle, courteous and sincere!
We will be back

For the reviewer here who complained about $100 hold for incidentals, you must not travel much, I have yet to find a worthwhile property that doesn't do a hold... Not a reason to give a bad review.
