The room and bathroom were so clean. The air always runs, but there's a thermostat to make the air cooler or warmer. The liquid soaps are all in neat containers (bring a loofah). Shawn was so friendly. I casually mentioned how the coffee was too strong, and she gave me a cupful of creamers and a cupful of sugars and extra coffee and cups. She also recommended this awesome restaurant that we went to on our way to Burbank: Norm's. So good!

I can’t believe what I experienced at this hotel. When I checked into my room, there a hole in the wall. I didn't think much of it as it was very late and I assumed the staff was aware of it. To my surprise, I was charged for it after checking out.||I reached out to the staff and they insisted that I was responsible for it, even though it was there when I arrived. They claim to check everything in a room before a new guest arrives, but with the amount of rooms at the property (~150 according to a quick search) there's no way they can be 100% perfect on every inspection. They clearly dropped the ball and are covering for themselves.||I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels before, and this easily the worst experience I've ever had. To be blamed for something I'm not responsible for and then charged for it is unbelievable. I strongly recommend looking at some of the nearby hotels unless you'd like to be screwed over by their shady practices. I would not be surprised if they're doing something similar to other guests.

Stayed here last month, and I hesitated writing this review because I really wanted to gather my thoughts on the whole experience. Let me first start off on a positive note. I really enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel. The food was amazing, portions were very large, prices were good, and the drinks were some of the best I've had in a while! The staff all seemed very polite and very accommodating. The hotel itself was very clean. My only issue is the rooms don't always close properly, and the door is basically left ajar so anybody can push it open! This is a huge safety concern!!! Especially for families or women traveling solo! Unfortunately I discovered this when I got back from shopping and the room had been serviced. I was able to push my room door right open, no key! Another time as I was leaving the room the door also failed to close properly. I had to go back and really make sure it was shut! For that reason I can't rate this hotel very high, although I do feel the staff are all absolutely wonderful! The room not closing is a huge safety problem! If they ever fixed this problem I would absolutely be willing to try staying here again.

Shawn was amazing! We appreciate her help and effectiveness. When we first got to our room we realized we didn’t have a remote control for our television. She personally brought us one to the room. The next day she remembered us and asked my daughter how she did at her softball tournament. She was very sweet and made our stay unforgettable.

Shawn Was Really Great! I Loved Her Professionalism. She Had A Great Smile & Greeted Us & Made Us Feel Welcome. Thank You So Much! Great Service Is Rare. Most Places Don’t Provide Great Service Like This Anymore. I Mentioned To Her How Great Her Service & She Looked Surprised So I Wanted This To Be A Reminder.

There was part of a banana peel in the floor outside the elevators. As for the room, there were stains on the carpet. There was a stain on the chair. The toilet had residue left over from the last person who used it, making me wonder if it had been cleaned at all. There was goop of some kind on the wall hanging above the bed.

Additionally, only some of the channels were coming through on the TV, even trying to get to them from the TV guide directly. A lot of them just said they had no signal. I called the front desk about it and they said they would send someone to look into it. The front desk called back a few minutes later and said maintenance said the signal issue was across the whole hotel and that they were working on it. So the staff at the front desk didn't even know there was a hotel wide issue apparently. There also wasn't any way to log in to any kind of streaming.

I stayed here 12/11/24 - 12/13/2024. I was in the area for work, and since I was only traveling a few hours away I took my dog with me. He is an emotional support animal with a letter from a doctor. I called around Lancaster and Palmdale a week prior to my travel to ask places about their ESA policy. The Holiday inn in Lancaster said there was a pet fee even with an ESA letter. That's fine, ESAs aren't covered by the ADA, and some hotels don't waive the fee for them. I called this Holiday Inn in Palmdale (12/06/2024). The automated voice asked me what my reason for calling was. I said "emotional support animal" and was connected to a lady. She said that, as long as my dog had his ESA letter, there wouldn't be a pet fee. Fast forward a week and I arrive at the hotel. I'm told by the front desk staff that there would be a nightly extra charge for my pet. I told them I had called ahead and was told there wouldn't be since he is an ESA and I had a letter from my doctor for him. They spoke to a manager on the phone and the manager, through the front desk staff, told me "just because you call this location for a reservation doesn't mean the system connects you to someone actually at this hotel. The person you spoke to gave you incorrect information, and we don't have to honor it." Just to test this, when I got to my room I called the same number as before, I said the same thing to the automated system. I was connected directly to the front desk staff I had just spoken to when checking in. So I'm confused as to how I had been connected to someone off-site, and given incorrect information, when I called the week before.
