My husband has been a patient of Dr Oh’s for several years. Dr Oh and his team take excellent care of the patient and the family. He keeps me well informed of all important details, including having someone update me during surgery. His amazing bedside manner is the perfect accompaniment to his stellar surgical skills. We always recommend Dr Oh to anyone requiring a fantastic neurosurgeon.

He and his staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

He took time to listen to my concerns, patiently explained what he saw, as well as what steps I can take improve my health.

I would recommend Dr. Oh to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and kind doctor.

I have worked in medicine for over 13 years and was recently referred to Dr Oh by my Rheumatologist. Absolutely LOVE this office and staff. Dr Oh is amazing at educating the patient (the paper on the exam tables often has a drawing or two of spinal components or procedures ?). He is compassionate and works around patient needs. I trust him fully! In addition, I met with a NP who was so very nice, and stepped in to make sure I was tended to because Dr Oh was running behind. This is so considerate and refreshing. I would have understood if he was behind, but it goes to show how dedicated to patient care and satisfaction they are. The staff are all friendly, efficient and professional. The practice is a well oiled machine! Thank you for practices like this!!!!

Lots of stories about back surgery out there. Most of them scary. Forget scary with Dr. Oh. I had a lumbar laminectomy at L 2 thru L 4. Surgery took about 2 hours and my back pain was gone when I woke up. My back feels better than it has in 20 years and I had zero problems with the surgery or the incision.
Dr. Oh is a top rate professional and he is to be trusted with his diagnosis and surgery.

You could not find a better Doctor if you hunted the world over!! Kind, caring, take a time to explain all steps and all your options, takes time to cover it all.. When he started drawing a picture onthe EXAM TABLE top PAPER, I knew HE was the one for me. He is a very "logical person" In addition he refined this new "go in the side procedure" to remove disks that he teaches others how to do it as well as surgeries and his degrees including a PHD are incredible. Also, He doesn't sugarcoat one thing.

The office staff and his surgery assistant Heather are all as sweet as can be and they do not mind questions or extra calls.

I would mark 100 stars if I could.

I am 7 days post op from removing 4 disks incision on the side on Tues and on Wed scoliosis rods and screws down the back.
I was up walking day one and again day 2 after surgery for rod implants. I was up and walking and ONCE AGAIN LOOKING OVER THE TOPS OF PEOPLES' HEADS. NO BENT SPIN HERE!!

Very confident without arrogance doctor. Explains as much as you want to hear. Answers any and all questions. Very honest, excellent nurse, Heather. All staff in office very professional and friendly. First time in 1 1/2 years no pain. I am 7 days post op. Repaired T5 fracture via Kyphoplasty. No post op pain. Will recommend to anyone who needs spine doctor. Office returns calls promptly. Easy making appointments.

It's been 4 months since back surgery and no pain. I do walk 2-4 miles every day, eat pretty healthy and just stay active. Had some initial muscle spasms but they, too, are gone. No meds. Dr. Oh highly recommended.

I was hurt really bad on I-30 in the tornado on Dec 26th 2015. The tornado picked up our van and tossed it off I-30 to the service road below. I had a cut in my head , that was arterial. I had lost quite a bit of blood by the time they got me to the hospital. I had 4 pints of blood and I could feel the blood just oozing. I was in and out of conscious but I remember DR Oh , telling us that the cut was all the way to my skull, and he told me he could fix me up and not to worry. I gave him permission to fix me right there in the ER, which he did a wonderful job. Even when he had to shave my head, which is amazing that he was able to just shave a section my hair , which was just a bloody mess. IT took me almost 2 weeks to get all the blood out of my hair, but he somehow managed to only shave an area that he needed to get to. I had to have about 22 stitches so it was a large gap. But I thank God, often when I think about that night, for routing me to Methodist Hospital ER , there on George Bush Freeway and for the Staff at that hospital. I am thankful they called in DR. Oh to come in and fix me up. My experience with DR. Oh that night and the following weeks , was nothing but exceptional.

Words cannot express just how awesome Dr. Oh, his office staff Paulette are- My 80 yr. old mother had compression fracture- the first hosiptal recommended getting pain in control then transfer to rehab which would turn into long term care- Primary Dr. made a referral and Dr. Oh said surgery could and would help my Mother and the most likely returning back home by herself- Dr. Oh was/is amazing Mom had surgery Tuesday night and her pain level has gone from a 10 to a 2- so thankful I got my mother with the outlook of doing rehab and returning home to live by herself You see at 80 years old my Mother has more living to do I will be sending my husband to you as well -
