I delivered my baby here a few weeks ago and I’m a big fan of this hospital! The labor and delivery section is really nice and the rooms are spacious. But what really made my experience great were the labor and delivery nurses!!! They were absolutely amazing. Super kind, caring, and hard working. I was in the hospital for days so I had a lot of different nurses and they were all great. The postpartum nurses were amazing too! My doctor— Dr. Candis Tilles did a wonderful job with my c-section and I’ve loved working with her during my whole pregnancy. Labor & delivery is so unpredictable but St. John’s made it comfortable during the process!!

As a person who’s not necessarily a fan of hospitals, this visit was by far the easiest and quickest ER visit I’ve had. The staff were all very hospitable, efficient, and patient. The one thing I would recommend is adding a speaker outside the ER door so patients don’t have to wait indoors. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous and peaceful and provides a calming environment for stressful situations.

The personal attention i got was superb. I was treated in a pleasant manner. The procedure was well explained and the operation for surgery was very assuring and the post operating healing was fast. I was healed in no time and i walked out by myself. I was given the overprotective bandages which made it very comfortable. The doctors were very skilled and the anesthesiologist was very instrumental in easing my concerns and the nurses treated me with the upmost care.

My son and daughter -in-law delivered their baby boy this week at this lovely hospital!
The care my daughter-in-law and new baby received was amazing! They really listened to her wishes and made her comfortable and at ease. (The level of care she received was outstanding.!) The LD , neonatal nurses are absolutely wonderful, caring and supportive! The whole staff at this facility were so kind to our whole family too! What a joyous experience all around! I highly recommend this hospital’s maternity ward.

I had Knee replacement surgery and stayed overnight and could not have been happier with the care provided. Shout outs to my pre-op nurse, AJ, whose calming good natured professionalism was a godsend. Olga, the OR nurse who talked me through the medical details. Post-op recovery staff and Judy the head nurse for my very comfortable private room were professional and lovely. And I even found the food to be great. Thank you all!

St John’s is a great hospital & the emergency room far surpasses the one at UCLA. I used to go to the latter but EVERY TIME there would be so many homeless people, I would wait 3 hours❗️❗️At SJ I was attended to right away as I had a very odd diagnosis. Was admitted, attended to by doctors $ able to go home in 3 days. SJOHN IS THE FINEST.

The staff was polite and professional. I have been a patient of this health service provider since 2023.

I am personally against these reviews of institutions by people who have no training in the field. I believe that the doctor’s oath (Hippocratic Oath) is to do the best to save lives. I don’t believe babysitting is part of it. No medical institution goes out of its way to aggravate its patients because this can exacerbate the symptoms of some patients. I have never been to a dirty hospital unless it’s in a war zone. I just think it’s extra work for the hospital folks to worry about what some knucklehead thinks about them, when they are doing their job. Only charlatans and scammers need to worry.

My dr appointment was good, the blood draw was good. However the EKG was degrading. The technician told me to strip from the waist up, which is fine, but I was given no gown or blanket, when I asked for one she said it would be quick so I wouldn’t need one. I was lying on the table half naked in a very cold room waiting for a time while she set up the machine. Then she threw all the wires on top of me, and connected it all up. The whole time was very impersonal and not what you would expect . It was not a nice or professional experience at all.
