I have been coming to this library since I was a kid. I love how the library evolve with the time including the surrounding area. I love the fact they have books in other languages other than English here. The staffs are very helpful and you will feel safe here.

Beautiful and updated library. It’s clean and organized. Few computer stations, print/copy station, teens section, kids and adult section and even Self check out stations. Lots of sitting areas to read or just work quietly on your computer.

I attended Job lab workshop , was helpful and got answers to my questions, also my son is a member here , they got bunch of nice books and novels for kids . It’s peaceful and quiet for studying or reading. Highly recommended

Absolutely wonderful library. One of the best I've visited in the Houston Public Library system. Also, just note, this is NOT Harris county public library. This is city of HOUSTON.

The staff are very friendly, direct, lively, and helpful and they actually teach you how to use the library and not hold your hand and coddle you. I like that they seem like they are not being forced to pay attention to you and that it's natural. Signs of great management. I really appreciate that in this day and age.

The branch is very clean and granted it isn't as quiet as you would expect a traditional library to be, but that's what attracts me, it's not so quiet.

The only thing I don't like is the lack of print areas and study rooms. They have a plethora of study spaces, but one printer? Bah. Not cool. This library totally needs more than one print station. At least they have mobile printing that is on the website and a little QR code, I thought that was cute.

All in all, this is a library worth coming to daily, weekly, or monthly. Very nice, clean, and modern.

This is a beautiful library, however, the Wi-Fi is not secure. If you need to take care of professional matters such as work or accessing your email, you are blocked by Cisco Umbrella. The Wi-Fi offered here is only useful for browsing popular websites or social media.

If you plan on taking care of GROWN-UP business, avoid the Houston Public Library right now. I'm sitting in here on Dec 4 @ 5:19PM and email services are BLOCKED, hunny. Outlook? Gmail? Hotmail? Live? Yahoo? It doesn't matter. They are BLOCKED. You have to go through 3rd party website and divulge your email password to get access to YOUR account. And even when you do get in, you will have access to your INBOX, not your folders. Just go to a Harris County Library, unless all you want to do is sit and play video games. This is crazy and ghetto!!!

Wow! Gorgeous library, with very helpful staff and plenty of tablets and desktop computers available, modern-ish comfy furniture/design and a spacious, well-utilized layout. Highly recommend! Great place to kill a few hours.

THEY'RE FINALLY OPEN! Well they've been open but now people can come inside and check out books. My kids and I have been coming to this location for years! They used to have story time for toddlers and young kids as well as arts and crafts. Not sure if they offer that anymore due to covid. MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED although you can wear them for your safety. There's a kiosk upon arrival, right at the front door that'll take your temperature. This library is always clean and organized. The staff is always courteous and helpful. We hadn't been to the library in over a year yet I was able to get a replacement card within minutes. I'm very happy they are back open and my kids can get back to loving reading again.
