Soggiornato in questo albergo per due notti. La conferenza a cui ho partecipato si svolgeva in albergo e la scelta del Westin era obbligata. Dall'aeroporto lo si raggiunge in circa mezz'ora. C'è un servizio "super shuttle" che ferma anche in quest'albergo. Il taxi costa invece 46 $ (flat rate).||Stanza grande con due letti queen size. Scelta dei cuscini imbarazzante: almeno una decina in tutto, di ogni taglia e morbidezza. Maxi schermo tv flat screen. Wifi a pagamento! La colazione la si può fare al ristorante nella hall ma non l'ho provata. In camera c'è l'angolo caffè oltre al ferro da stiro. Bagno pulito, con vasca da bagno.||All'interno dell'enorme complesso dell'albergo ci sono anche negozi e ristoranti (fast food). Non so purtroppo cosa c'è intorno non avendo avuto modo di visitare la città.||Per essere un Crowne Plaza mi sarei aspettato di più. Tuttavia sulla qualità non si discute. Il prezzo è in linea con gli standard Crowne Plaza (alto)

Servizio (check in/out) veloce ed accurato. Personale attento, gentile, disponibile. Camere spaziose, pulitissime ed ariose. Bagni molto ben puliti e ben tenuti. Piscina, palestra (aperta 24/7) e grandi spazi. Ottimo panorama. Posizione buona. Permanenza confortevole. Prezzi adeguati e in linea - anche minore - con la concorrenza. Ci tornerei.

I recently stayed at the Westin Downtown Kansas City, and I have to say, the experience was exceptional—largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by one of the hotel's employees, Savannah.

From the moment I arrived, Savannah went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She was welcoming and attentive, greeting me with a warm smile and offering assistance with check-in. But what really stood out was how she took the extra steps to make my visit truly memorable.

When I mentioned I was in town for a special event, Savannah took the time to suggest local attractions and dining spots, even providing a map to make sure I didn't miss anything. She also helped me with some special requests, such as arranging for a room with a great view of the city. Her genuine care and attention to detail made a big difference in my overall experience.

The hotel itself is beautiful—modern, clean, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Kansas City. The amenities are top-notch, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. However, it's the personal touch from employees like Savannah that truly set this Westin apart from other hotels.

If you're planning a trip to Kansas City and looking for a place where you’ll feel well taken care of, I highly recommend the Westin Downtown. Be sure to look out for Savannah—her dedication to guest satisfaction truly elevates the whole experience!

We stayed at this overpriced hotel for a weekend event. The room was adequate but nothing special. The worst part was the bar and restaurant. It was overcrowded for our entire stay and even with the bar area overflowing they did not open their dining room. We ended up having to do take out just to get a drink and snack to take to our room. Even talking to the manager on duty resulted in nothing but a verbal apology. No compensation offered at all. There must be better hotels than this in KC.

If I wanted to lug all my own bags, Christmas gifts, and assorted items to my room all by myself I would stay in a low rent motel nearer to the family farm. Been coming here as a Christmas tradition for a few years now and have noticed diminished quality in that time. This year they decided to send the porter/bellman home on Christmas eve eve right before check in time. Like, are you serious? I came to the hotel and paid a premium to relax, not fight the crowds and lug all my bags to my room through the holiday crush. When I asked around, I found out they are cutting corners everywhere. And it shows! The hotel room had no conditioner in the shower. When we tried to check out the porter was there thankfully, and when we called down for him... the front desk failed to mention to the porter that we called. Thankfully I saw him in the lobby and asked and sent him up to my wife to help with the bags while I rounded up the dogs and got the vehicle. Next year we will call ahead and if they are still cutting these corners we are going somewhere else. If you are reading this review in December of 2024 just beware in 2025, the service is going downhill. Not a place to go if you want to relax. Great place if you want to be stressed out during your stay.

Checked in on 10/4 for only a night. I could tell this was going to be a great stay when I met Alissa at the front desk. She was awesome! Great personality and happy to help and answer any questions I had (which were many after not being in KC for 40 years). The room was nice and clean and the hotel overall was very nice. But the main reason I'm writing this review is because of the great customer service Alissa provided. -GC

The hotel was very busy due to the Hallmark Event, but some of the staff were wonderful!
Denny met us at the entrance and assisted us all through the check in process- he was AWESOME! Joanna at the restaurant and coffee station was ALWAYS cheerful and helpful. Pepe was hustling to help. Amanda was very accommodating and professional!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was cleaned and smelled clean - something that is so important to me. Tanner at the front desk was amazingly kind every time we saw him. Jennifer, Jay and Tonja at the bar were amazing, too. Indeed, I have not seen a hotel bar/restaurant staff as happy as this group. Even the morning breakfast cashier was super kind and efficient. She worked alone but was on top of it nonstop -- even with early morning historians (we can be cranky). I highly recommend this hotel but do hope the wifi system can be improved. It was super slow.
