Fun and chic! Drinks are of high quality, especially considering by Lakeland standards. I appreciate the creativity in presentation, and the attention to detail in the bar’s seating and ambiance. I only tried one dish so I can’t speak much to the food, but everything else was great!

All around 5 stars for this place! It's become mine & my husbands favorite place for date night! The cocktails are innovative & delicious. The food is a 10/10! You seriously need to try the cheese burger slider! Nothing we've had has been a disappointment! & then on top of everything tasting good, the atmosphere & service is top notch as well! ❤️ I feel like I can't say enough good things!

Celebrated our 3yr wedding anniversary & the husband's birthday. We're Cuban so the food is familiar but they put their own twist on it & everything was delicious. We ordered the Scallops to start & the Picanha & Grouper Saltado with a side of Yucca fries & fried rice as entrées, the Expresso Martini was the perfect finisher. I love how they personalized my husband's menu with Happy Birthday Luis on the top and added a signed card to take home, it was a nice touch. They also gave us two glasses of Champagne on the house as we were celebrating. Staff was all very friendly and atmosphere felt very much like our traditional Cuban restaurants back home in Miami but upscale. Definitely a place I would recommend for special occasions or a nice dinner date for couples. Recommend making reservations as they are very busy on the weekends.

Recently got a chance to visit this gem during it's soft opening. I remember what the rooftop bar looked like before and WOW what a difference! They have enclosed a lot of what used to be the open outside, and it is now climate controlled with seating and servers. The patio looks amazing and as you would expect from Nineteen Sixty-One, the drinks are well thought out and delicious. When we finally got the bill, we were really surprised to find it incredibly affordable for what we ordered! (PS - Try the pork rinds!)

My husband and I had the pleasure of coming to the “technically second” rooftop bar in Lakeland before people know about it. It’s not been open long (a month in a half).

Its competition is Bonnet Springs rooftop gathering place that had been built by Publix. That place is amazing in and of itself but’s really for families, not an actual bar setting. So Vasco’s is the first real “fancy”rooftop bar in Lakeland.

It’s fabulous, just like down stairs. Pretty much what Lakeland needs, a pretty sophisticated atmosphere with a view.

Downstairs has always been amazing and this is an awesome addition to an already great place. ?

Super nice environment. Keep in mind there is a dress code that includes banning flip flops. The drinks are meant to be experiential and they deliver. The service was exquisite and they make sure you feel welcome. They said they will be open until 2am and I can imagine that will be very popular on summer nights.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vasco, this amazing rooftop bar and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the stunning views of the city skyline to the delicious cocktails and impeccable service, everything about this place was top-notch. Marcos and Emerson really outdid themselves!

The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic evening with a loved one. The rooftop setting added a touch of sophistication and charm to the overall experience.

I highly recommend trying their signature cocktails - they were expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time.

Overall, this rooftop bar deserves all the praise it gets. I will definitely be returning and can't wait to enjoy another unforgettable evening under the stars.

RUN, don't walk to Vasco Sixty One , an incredible new rooftop tapas bar here in downtown Lakeland. Beautiful ambiance, mouthwatering food, daring drinks, and world-class service. I really hope they get Michellin recognition!
