I visited this place today and was absolutely mesmerized. It's great for meditation and finding peace of mind. It reminded me of my days at Belur Ramkrishna Mission in Kolkata, where I was a student. I felt a strong connection to this place. My parents, who are visiting us from India, also loved it and were equally mesmerized. It is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The Sunday spiritual talk at 11:00 a.m. is highly recommended. It's an excellent spot for a peaceful time or meditation.

Love this place. I went a few months back and miss it often even now. Picture-book views and real warmth from the devotees who were holding a potluck the day I visited. The monks and their meditation hall are immediately elevating presences. Be sure to go for fourth of July.

A peaceful and beautiful place tucked away in the mountains. Has a wonderful bookstore and a great wilderness hike that highlights the great faiths. Occasional programs for spiritual enrichment. Serene. Kind. Feels like you’re in another realm, yet very grounded. The place buzzes or vibrates, like a vortex.

When I visited there was an (unapproved) filming session do be prepared for sone people not appreciating the sacredness of the grounds. Which can be true of any public place. Yet overall, it is a wonderful place to come to for rest, healing, spiritual connection, and a connection with others on the journey.

So peaceful. Wonderful place to enjoy nature, and ground yourself in whatever way you choose. The shrine room is an awesome place to mediate. The gift shop has really cool things, as well as honey products they make there. There are a lot of bees around (they never bother anyone but if your allergic be careful) because of their bee sanctuary. The honey is delicious.

One of my favorite place to visit in Southern California few times a year. Very peaceful monastery located on the hills surrounded with many trees and plants. You may enjoy walking along the path with symbols of World religions, and find a place where you heart feels home... Small temple is great especially if you looking for inner peace...
I am also like the gift shop with many unique merchandise, and especially I am recommending local honey.

A quiet oasis. An absolute must to check out the meditation building/room. And there's a wonderful trail to walk if the weather permits. Parking has expanded from a few years back.
